  • *Permission from the instructor is needed for registration by emailing Min@clayspacebk.com

  • Once approved, you may register

  • In this independent study class, each student receives personalized instruction from Min Choi, who has decades of making and teaching experience. Whether you are an advanced student or a seasoned professional, you can bring a plan, idea, technical difficulties, or inspiration to meet, and work together to get you from plan A to plan B. Each student has access to Min to ask all your questions and receive answers and guidance.

  • This “open studio” style class allows ceramists with varied interests and skill levels to hone their craft in a collaborative setting. There are no actual group classes weekly, however, students will meet Min once a week for an hour by appointment at a convenient, agreed-upon time. Demonstrations are guided by student requests and unlimited bench time is included.

  • You will get vast amounts of information, knowledge, and exposure in the areas you are wanting in this independent study environment that a semester class cannot provide. You will grow in the areas you desire and have the attention you’re ready for.

Additional clay bodies may be purchased if a student wishes for something other than class clay. Since ceramics is an art form that benefits from practice and social time outside of class time, registration for these classes also includes ample access to the studio during posted open studio hours. This is a great way to prepare yourself for a Clay Space membership should this be one of your goals.
