ShopSmall Greenpoint Spring Crawl x Clay Space Sidewalk Sale Fundraiser for Fabrica Design Platform

In conjunction with ShopSmall Greenpoint, Clay Space will host a fundraiser sidewalk sale from May 2-10, 10am-9pm daily. You’ll find new ceramic pieces set out daily for purchase in which all funds raised will be sent to Fabrica Design Platform, a “sister studio” in Beirut, Lebanon. You can find QR codes for donations and read about their story and community efforts here. Please come out and show your support.
With purchases or donations of $50 or more, you will be entered in a raffle for a TryNight!

The Great Brooklyn Throw Down @ Clay Space 2026 - BCAT's 4th Annual Community Event
Join this amazing event that brings the clay community and clay fans together to celebrate the end of the 2026 Brooklyn Ceramic Arts Tour. The 4th annual Great Brooklyn Throw Down @ Clay Space will guarantee fun, skills & laughter during this family friendly event that should not be missed. Teams by region will compete in a variety of wheel throwing & handbuilding relay competitions with the crowd cheering them on. The Throw Down will run from 5.30-7.30pm with the BCAT (and GOS) after-party from 7-9pm. Join us afterwards for food, beverages, a mug fundraiser sale and awesome clay people. The event is free, but we do suggest a donation for upcoming BCAT events. Register here to let us know you’re coming!
BCAT Potluck Get Together
Bring a dish or drinks to share & a small ceramic piece under $20 for a post-holiday gift exchange if you wish!
We’ll be handing out BCAT Call for Artists posters for you to share around your neighborhoods. Please consider asking your favorite local spots—bookshops, wine stores, coffee shops, etc. —as well as your studio spaces, to hang one up and help spread the word. We’re also trying something new by including, as part of the potluck, an open, community-wide conversation about what it means to be part of an intimate clay community, as well as the broader ceramics community in Brooklyn and beyond. Join us for some food and food for thought!

How is Clay Space participating? From December 1-7, 10am-6pm each day, Clay Space will be selling ceramics of all kinds, with a “Pay-what-you-wish” donation per piece, as part of our ongoing sidewalk sale fundraisers for our kid’s summer camp scholarship program, Come inside now that it’s cold, and when you participate in the SSG Crawl, we’ll stamp your passport as long as you spend a minimum of $10. Made In Greenpoint - Pop Up
Join us for Made in Greenpoint, a tour of open studios of local makers and artists on Calyer Street in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Makers featured are artists, ceramicists, illustrators and jewelers. Event is part of Made in NYC week and creates a space for all to share work and build community. Come by and take a look...and, shop!

Clay Space ceramic center in Greenpoint, Brooklyn will present an exhibition of its first residency cohort from the 2024 Centered in Equity residency program entitled, US, opening on Friday, December 13 from 5-9pm. The group show will remain on view until December 23 at the Yashar Gallery, 276 Greenpoint Ave., Brooklyn, NY.
