Private Lessons
Two-hour private lessons for 1-5 people
Our two-hour private lessons provide 1-on-1 instruction for newcomers to clay or those seeking focused time with an experienced instructor who will support your clay making goals and help you hone your skills. Private lessons are also great as a family activity, bestie night out, or a change of pace date night. If you’ve never worked with clay before, a private handbuilding lesson is a great place to start. If you have dreamt of spinning clay on a wheel, a private wheel lesson is ideal.

Included in the cost is the firing and finishing of 1 piece per participant. Each additional piece is $20.

Our staff will trim, fire, glaze, and fire again your pieces to be ready for pick up in about 6 weeks. If you are scheduling a series, you will work with your instructor and our student firing system. We will email you when your pieces are ready for pick up.

PRIVATE LESSON Cancellation Policy:
To request a cancellation and full refund minus a $50 processing fee or to reschedule your event, you must contact us in writing within 48 hours prior to your lesson. Within 24 hours of the scheduled lesson, there will be no refunds for cancellations or no-shows. Email Education@clayspacebk.com with your cancellation request.

Private Event & Parties
Private Event with an instructor for 6+ people
The Clay Play Party/Event Package includes a 2 hour class for adults and 1 ½ hour for kids. Adults have the option of choosing the last ½ hour reserved for refreshments or party or extra time can be added for party. You will be responsible for bringing and setting up all party supplies and food (table cloth, cups, plates, napkins, forks, etc.) as Clay Space will not provide these.

Groups up to 8 participants for a total of 2 hours:
Wheel Throwing or Handbuilding Party $760 (each additional person + $95

The cost includes firing and finishing of 1 piece per participant. Additional pieces are $20 each. Finished pieces will be ready for pick up in about 6 weeks. We will email you when your pieces are ready for pick up.
A 50% deposit is required to hold the reservation with the balance due 3 days prior to the event date.

- For Hand building parties, participants must be at least 6 years old without adult supervision and 5 years old with an adult.
- For Wheel Throwing parties, the minimum age is 11. A mixture of adults and children is also welcome.
- Adults are welcome to BYOB or have refreshments delivered. The package includes 1 ½ hour of instruction with the last ½ hour reserved for refreshments or parties, or simply 2 hours of class and no party. You will be responsible for bringing and setting up all party supplies and food (table cloth, cups, plates, napkins, forks, etc.) as Clay Space will not provide these. An additional ½ hour can be added for $150 to extend the teaching or socializing time.

EVENT OR PARTY Cancellation Policy:
